Yes. Every SunSquare is engineered for Beaufort 8 conditions — up to 80 km/h sustained. The patented soft-tension drive absorbs gusts without strain on the structure, and in rising winds the sail retracts automatically in under 30 seconds. Each installation on Mallorca is calibrated to the exposure of the specific terrace.
Yes. Soltis 92 fabric is water-repellent, and each sail is tensioned to shed rainwater cleanly off the surface. For heavy downpours the sail retracts at a single touch — fabric and terrace remain protected. SunSquare is engineered for the full Mediterranean climate, not only for summer.
Three to five days on site. Measurement, engineering drawings and load calculations are completed in advance at our atelier in Campos. Installation is non-invasive — no structural modification to the villa — and the system is fully commissioned before our team leaves.
