With 2000+ installations, we are the leading experts in Spain and the Western Mediterranean, working directly with the inventors of the automated sun sail. Every installation is unique and designed in Campos.
Our atelier sits between the salt flats of Es Trenc and the harbour of Palma. Our process is always bespoke. We design shade, working directly with Architects, Planners, Owners and Designers. Only highest quality materials are good enough to withstand the extremes of the Mediterranean climate and guarantee the 20+ year life cycles of our installations.

In the early 1990s the Austrian Superconstructor Gerald Wurz invented the automated sun sail, known under the brand name SunSquare®. It soon became the global standard for its elegance, longevity and more than clever construction. Its entire drive train — motor, sensors, cable loom — is routed through the stainless-steel mast shaft. There is nothing to see. Nothing to snag. A calibrated wind sensor retracts the sail in less than 45 seconds at the Beaufort threshold you specify. Smart-home ready. Architect-invisible. Designed to operate almost maintenance-free for +20 years.

Premium outdoor Fabrics
Durable, fade-resistant, and easy to maintain, our fabrics stay looking great for years in sun, wind, and weather—they blocks up to 92% UV radiation, lowering the heat, and protect from rain – while letting in gentle natural light and preserving the view of the sky and the clouds.
COMPONENT 02
Silent Auto-Retract
Full retraction in under 60 seconds via a whisper-quiet tubular motor. Wind-sensor activated for automatic storm protection. Compatible with KNX, app, and voice home-automation systems.

STAINLESS-STEEL Mast System
Polished Marine-grade V4A Stainless steel masts, optionally powder-coated in over 200 RAL colours to architect specification. The polished surface gently reflects the surroundings and renders them non-intrusive.

Planning
3D site model, shadow simulation, BIM-compatible drawings. All our installations are bespoke.

Fabrication & Install
CNC fabrication in Austria and Campos. Typically one day of installation by our team of Technicians.

Service
Our installations are almost maintenance-free and have 20+ years life-cycles. 48h call time in case of emergency.

SunSquare sun sails are patented, fully automatic, wind-monitored shading systems made of high-quality Marine-quality stainless steel. They retract almost completely and discreetly into their shaft and protect up to 80 m² from sun, rain, and strong winds — ideal for villas, large terraces and pool areas.
Absolutely — they are specially designed for Mediterranean conditions. The integrated wind sensor automatically retracts the sail in storms (up to Beaufort 5 – 6), and the materials are salt-water and UV resistant.
Yes, but we recommend covering or retracting it during the off-season to protect from dirt and falling leaves. The system is fully weatherproof all year around. While being nearly maintenance-free systems, we offer a winter-service where we store the sails in our warehouse and give them a good spring cleaning for an even longer lifespan of 10 years or more.
Extremely. The electronic monitoring system retracts the sail automatically at the first sign of strong wind, protecting the system even in Mallorca’s storms. The greatest strength of our systems is their longevity. We installed the first SunSquare systems in 1999 on Ibiza and Mallorca — and they are still running.
The sail can be closed manually with the included emergency crank.
